Plan your visit

Best Time to Visit

The National Park is open from 1st October to 30th June. It remains closed during the monsoon season.

  • Nov - Feb: Excellent for wildlife viewing and bird watching. Migratory birds are a highlight.
  • March: A great balance of pleasant weather and good wildlife viewing.
  • April - Jun: Temperatures rise, but tiger sightings become easier as they frequent water bodies.

What to Carry

  • Winter (Nov - Feb): Warm clothing, jackets, gloves, and mufflers. Wind chill during safaris can be significant.
  • Summer (Mar - Jun): Loose cotton clothing, wide-brimmed hats, and sunscreen.
  • General: Binoculars for wildlife viewing, cameras with extra batteries, and mosquito repellents (especially Oct & Mar).

Safari & Park Timings

Entry and exit timings vary by season to align with sunrise and sunset. Winter mornings start later, and evenings end earlier. Ranthambhore Fort timings also follow the sunset schedule. Please check current timings at the office before your first entry.

Responsible Tourism

Help us preserve the wild

  • Keep it Quiet: Transistors, horns, and loud conversations are taboo. You will observe more wildlife if you are quiet.
  • Dress Appropriately: Wear colours that blend with the forest – khaki, brown, and olive green. Bright colours can frighten animals.
  • Do Not Feed Animals: They have plenty of natural food. Feeding them changes their habits and can be harmful.
  • No Littering: Polythene bags and wrappers spoil the beauty and harm animals. Please take your trash back with you.
  • Respect Distance: Do not approach animals too closely or stand up near tigers. It can be seen as a threat.
  • No Strong Scents: Avoid perfumes as animals are sensitive to smell.
  • No Collection: Do not collect plants or animals; they belong to the forest.

NGO We Support

Giving back to the community

YRCHC (Yash Rehabilitation Child Helpline Center)

The Pugmark Resort proudly supports YRCHC, a non-profit voluntary association registered in 2006. YRCHC is dedicated to helping children with developmental disabilities, slow learning, mental retardation, cerebral palsy, and autism.

From humble beginnings with just two children, YRCHC now supports over 50 children, providing special education, physiotherapy, and speech therapy. Despite facing extreme hardships, the organization has established a committed school in Ranthambhore, Sawai Madhopur, and organizes camps in nearby villages to create awareness.

Our Mission: To provide a quantum leap for the welfare and rehabilitation of differently-abled children, helping them achieve physical, social, and financial independence to become useful, integrated members of society.
